Shauna is our full-time medical aesthetician at Lovegrove Dermatology. She has been working in the skincare industry for more than 20 years. It is her pleasure to work with you to achieve your skincare goals. We offer carefully chosen products and aesthetic treatments to complement our medical practice in order to help patients achieve optimal skin health.
Shauna offers skin care consultations, facials, peels, microneedling, laser treatments and permanent cosmetics. Based on her own personal experience, she has become passionate about helping people with their acne, melasma and hyperpigmentation struggles. Call or book online to make an appointment with Shauna!

We will review potential skincare procedures (such as laser treatments, IPL, microneedling, chemical peels), as well as the medical-grade skincare options available at Lovegrove Dermatology. Facial
A medical-grade facial at Lovegrove Dermatology begins with a personalized consultation with our Medical Aesthetician to discuss your unique skin concerns and goals. Acne Facial (with Blue Light therapy)
This treatment combines a customized medical facial to deeply cleanse your skin, followed by Blue Light therapy to target and eliminate acne-causing bacteria. Customized Chemical Peel
A chemical peel is a tailored treatment designed to address specific skin concerns such as acne, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and dullness. Our Medical Aesthetician will assess your skin type and trouble spots to select the most appropriate peel formula for your needs. This
treatment involves the application of a chemical solution that exfoliates the outer layers of the skin, promoting cell turnover and revealing smoother, brighter skin underneath. This peel can improve skin texture, reduce discoloration, and stimulate collagen production for a youthful, glowing complexion. Facial With Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a no downtime, minimally invasive procedure we offer as an add on in our facials. This procedure is an excellent way to enhance the appearance of sun damage, fine lines, acne scarring, and discolouration. Using a precision handpiece with an abrasive tip and gentle vacuum suction, it effectively exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin cells. This instantly reveals a healthier, more radiant complexion while stimulating skin cell renewal for smoother, clearer skin.

Back Treatment (with Blue Light therapy)
A "facial" for your back is an effective way to deeply cleanse this often-neglected area. Microneedling

IPL
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a non-invasive treatment that uses light energy to target pigmentation concerns, such as redness, brown spots, sun damage, and uneven skin tone. The light penetrates the skin’s surface, breaking down unwanted pigment and stimulating collagen
production, which can also improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines over time. IPL is also effective for addressing issues like rosacea, broken capillaries, and age spots, leaving your skin looking clearer, brighter, and more rejuvenated.

ResurFX
ResurFX is a non-ablative, fractionated laser treatment designed to improve skin texture and address various skin concerns. Blue Light Treatment (for Acne)
Blue light therapy is a safe, painless, and no-downtime treatment specifically designed to combat acne. Permanent Make-Up
Permanent makeup is a safe and non-invasive way to enhance your features with long-lasting results. This procedure involves depositing natural pigments into the deeper layers of the skin, creating a look that won’t wash off daily (but will gradually fade over time). Touch-ups are typically recommended every 1-3 years to maintain the desired appearance.
● Brows: Achieve filled-in brows for a polished look.
● Lashline Enhancement: Subtly define your lash line without the appearance of eyeliner.
● Natural Eyeliner: Simulate the look of eyeliner to your preferred style.
● Lip Blushing: Add a soft hint of color to enhance your lips.
A topical anesthetic is applied to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Please note that pigments will appear darker and more defined during the healing process, but will soon settle into your final result.
